You're speaking to an old Hawkwind fan here! I didn't do acid then as I recall though. Their music was all kinds of fabulous, and Afghan coats were compulsory at their gigs. I had four or five of their albums, although their later stuff like Quark Strangeness and Charm wasn't nearly as good as their earlier stuff - like a lot of bands.
