Yeah, I too was much more pleased with this thrid movie than the second one. I went to see it Thursday night with my parents, brother, and my brother's girlfriend. (yeck!)

You were probably much better off drinking rum while watching the movie. I probably made more sense that way, because I was sober and I barely understood half of it.

I liked Norrington in the second film, and it was a shame that he had to die. The wedding scene was very stupid, and I absolutely hated it. Could they have made that scene any worse? Probably.

In the end, I think I would have been happier if Will had stayed dead, instead of coming back as captain of the Flying Dutchman. I would have liked the film even more if it had been Elizabeth who had died..

Speaking of dead, was it just me or did the scene with Elizabeth's father feature acting that was a bit more wooden than usual or what?
Much as I like Orlando (go ahead, make me walk the plank), I do agree that his acting skills are not the best.

Other than that, I though the movie was good.
