I’ve heard the ‘there’s no proof!’ line too much from abusive misogynists to want to jump to that conclusion. People are stupid enough to do this. Is it being blown up way more in contrast to the masses of harassment currently ongoing in the comics industry? Yes. Is Cates lying? I would really not be okay making that claim.
This will be my last post on the subject. This whole drama is sickening and is sapping my will to write. I hope people will keep this garbage off the Venom tag so we can just fucking ignore it.
