I’m noticing a trend of people thinking this Spencer punch was some random street event?

He was being interviewed by media, I believe Australian news, about his political ideology. This was not just some periscope or YouTube video that got released where the person recording was pretending to engage Spencer as a distraction tactic for someone else to attack him. And the interviewer’s presentation of him during the interview as a mild-mannered intellectual with reasonable ideas that remain unchecked was dangerous as hell, and gave him a recruitment platform.

That punch was literally meant to deny him the ability to keep talking in that moment. To end that interview. To end his recruiting.

Yeah, the follow up punch should have gone to the interviewer.

These screenshots were taken at the same time. These posts have been up for over a week. And so far, 23x more notes on the inclusionist post. Fancy that.

It’s almost as if the exclusionist discoursers are small in number but supremely vocal. It’s almost as if the vast majority of the community accept our ace and aro brothers and sisters (and nb pals).

And this is just on tumblr, where discourse is the loudest, and not out in the actual world where organizations like GLAAD and The Trevor Project have been accepting ace identities for years.

So for all the ace and aro people out there who sometimes feels like everyone in the community is against them, that’s not the case. We’re with you. At least 23-to-1, we’re on your side.

GLAAD? you mean the organization that just a few months ago was bullied by ace people into replacing allies with asexuals? (x) okay honey

for the last fucking time, trans women DID NOT “bully” LGBT groups into including them. we didn’t harass them, we didn’t make them feel unsafe so they’d cave. they recognized our issues as valid and decided we required resources.

…oh wait, sorry. you were claiming *asexuals* were only being accepted because they used intimidation tactics. the two arguments are so similar that i must have misread what you wrote.

i’m sorry, i’ve only ever seen that argument made by TWERFs trying to paint trans women as being violent invaders who LGBT spaces only accept out of fear.

so i kind of had a gut reaction, you know?

anyway:

it’s cute that you think i read this. anyway, aces aren’t inherently LGBT and GLAAD was right the first time :)

anyway, acephobia is a rape apologist movement motivated solely by their desire to make sure the cause of corrective rape against aces is never addressed by society, so that the systemic assaults do not stop.

what’s everyone’s favorite season? i like the part of fall where it’s basically summer and the middle of spring.

i’m more fond of the cold. like the cold hearts of people who’ll make a joke out of how blatantly they ignore issues regarding the safety of sexual minorities who face systemic sexual violence.

me: please. help the corrective rape of this marginalized sexuality to stop. stop intentionally burying evidence of its cause, stop intentionally silencing ace survivors who *tell* you the cause. stop opposing the fact that organizations are beginning to give these survivors needed resources and awareness.

me: knowingly fighting so that this systemic problem’s cause won’t be recognized makes you complacent, and complacency to sexual assault is rape apologism.

acephobes: *plug their ears, yells over ace survivors* did you guys hear something? lovely weather we’re having. what’s your favorite season?

skfjskjdksjd “cold hearts” very edgy

acephobes: *plug their ears, yells over ace survivors* why do inclusionists talk like moody teenagers with their edgy poetry.

wait so why are the first two things separated into two different dialogue sections if you’re saying both of them? shouldn’t it be

me: *whatever you said idk i didn’t read it*acephobes: *whatever whatever*

and not

me: *something irrelevant*me: *a continuation of the irrelevant thing*acephobes: *what the fuck ever*

?

everyone look at this acephobe who literally just replaced my rant about ending systemic rape with the words “something irrelevant”.

like. i wrote about acephobes actively working to make sure systemic rape against asexuals doesn’t end, and then this asshole just goes out and calls it irrelevant.

anyway, acephobia is a movement that thrives entirely off rape apologism, and it only exists to deny ace oppression so that it won’t be acknowledged as the cause of ace corrective rape…meaning systemic ace corrective rape will never be tackled by society effectively, and will therefore not end.

like. how many ‘i don’t care about rape victims’ jokes can one acephobe make on one post? apparently a lot.

Aphobes and TERFS are scumbags. End of.

know what i did yesterday? went to an ace meet up. know where it was held? at my local queer community centre. (yes i said queer community, the org labels itself as queer, not lgbt) This org welcomes aces, aros and even polyamorous people (๑ゝω╹๑)

Same w/ pretty much every org I’ve been a member of/voulenteered with!!

yeah the organisation i’m a member of is also like that

I remember I was at a LGBT+ meet and I asked, “I’m asexual, does that count?” “Totally,” was the answer,
