Preaching to the choir, are you? Uni killed 90% of my love of history as well (which was my reason for going there, not me wanting to work in some dusty archive or writing petty colleague-bashing papers back and forth). Though I imagine it's a lot worse with something as deeply personal as writing. *sigh* Life stinks and the world is indeed full of fools. I'd feel better about it if I didn't sometimes suspect I'm one of them even though I don't want to.

I like the poetry (especially the "Year in Water"), but you should shelve the death threats: those people aren't worth getting in trouble for.
