As predicted, chapter 13 has now been completed to my current satisfaction. It seems slightly patchy, but I can't think what else to write. I leave it to Chetwynd and see what he thinks of it. It was one of the chapters I was really looking forward to writing, because for once I'll be following the book by the word (for the last time too, I suspect. After this, strap on your space-suits, because we're going deeper than ever into AU). It was just as fun as I hoped, and has a line I loved writing, here's a tid-bit:

Maquesta smirked, "Odd lot you are though, A half-elf, a human the size of a minotaur, and a Dark elf. What's the rest of you? Two Thanoi and a gully dwarf?"

Dalamar couldn't help but grin back, wondering what she'd make of Raistlin.

It's a good 6,000 words long, and I wrote it in one sitting, and am now feeling rather drained, so laters.
