You are very descriptive, you know? Somehow in a simple couple of words you paint a distinct picture and give the reader the feeling of an atmosphere of the situation. Good for you. My respects, as always.
Maybe this chapter has less tension, or contrast, but it gives the so needed feeling of the world around the characters.
