I guess it's always like that. I don't know anyone who writes more when they are happy -at least I certainly don't (which is why I can't really write at the moment). When I had the time, I wrote 3 pages or more a day during the worst years of my life. I think it's a natural escape mechanism of the brain. If you're unhappy, your soul just goes elsewhere. Either somewhere happy to find some peace, or somewhere worse, so life feels better in comparison.

My internet's behaving like an asshole as well... But I'm glad it's working at all.
