Just watched that Dumbo clip for the first time since I was 6 or something.
... was there something in the water in the 40s, or some really fucking bizarre solar flares at the time? Because I am trying to work out what the animators were thinking when they made it and it's completely beyond me.
Man, no wonder I loved it so much as a kid.
