I have this little scene I'm planning to write for Ice and Steel. Dalamar gives Raistlin a bunch of flowers, and Raistlin is all o_O because really, flowers? Then he recognises the roses, and then the others, and realises that they're all components for his spells. Incredibly happy Raistlin.
