I think it’s a question (as all things are) of intersectionality. The biggest a wage gap you have, the cooler you look. White women and black men beat white men for suits, black women beat both, and although I never saw Marsha P Johnson in a pantsuit, I guarantee she would be the coolest thing on heels.
