Lunar Eclipse

It's a very beautiful and incredible thing to see, if only because the moon looks completely round. In case you don't know, you can see the moon during a lunar eclipse, due to it being lit up by the sun's corona as the earth passes across it, but it looks a very dark sort of brownish-red. It's wierd how you suddenly realise the moon is round, it looks so flat normally but like this, it's like having a ripe orange suspended above your head- wonderful, and slightly worrying (what's keeping it up?). Sheer dumb luck that it's a clear night too, I mean really clear, even the light pollution had less of an effect and we saw more stars.

I wish I had a camera, it is a sight to remember.

Grrr...missed the lunar eclipse. Although I probably would have seen f00k all anyways cos its been dead cloudy in Liverpool for the last couple of days
