I’m gonna end a couple of misconceptions
Everybody seems to think they cant help if they’re out of the states. You absolutely can, especially if you live in Central America and/or you speak spanish. We need people who can translate for us and send messages to spanish organizations, and we need people who are better suited by location to contact these parents. Right now we have a few people who can speak spanish, including me but I’m like 40% sure on every sentence that it’s a bit broken (see above). Even if you don’t speak spanish it would be really helpful to see people getting support from German, French, South African organizations and such. We need you to message whoever you can to get funding, supplies, manpower, or promotion of the event.
That’s not all though, if you can’t show up to anything you can help in many ways. You can join the discord where we are discussing the event, you can help us find some way to contact the parents, you can help fundraise, you can offer supplies (money is a big one but if you have any stuff for the kids like toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, kids books, etc that would be helpful, we would also want ways to protect the front line like defense gear in case shit goes down) you can help us figure out a place to keep the kids until we get them to their parents, honestly just text me what you can offer and well be good. If you can offer carpools a place to stay while they drive through the country a couple days before that would be really helpful too.
We would also prefer that if you plan on going, you sign up on Facebook or message me in some way. We will be organizing carpools, at least one carpool is going to be set up from New York which will go through Massachussetts and Rhode Island first, and pick up anyone on the way such as a pit stop in Pennsylvania.jakeinthebox revolt_resist_riot lilmissdumb autoboty I saw yall are saying you’re going which is great so I wanted you guys to see this.
We’re working on fundraising to reimburse people for gas, but we didn’t want to set that up until this got more popular and we could prove we’re legit to more people. Right now we have about $100 pledged from supporters for when we post the GoFundMe though, so if any drivers especially from New England or the Washington/Oregon/California area are interested hmu. Really if you have a car and a license and you’re in the country or south Canada lmk.
Theres a million things you can do were still tryna figure out everythinglocalaussietrashcan even if you’re under 18 (I’m 18 myself, if theres an age limit I’m prolly not in) or you’re not American or you cant show up or you don’t want to be in a dangerous setting we can use your help.
