My Summer as a Camera

Despite having written an essay tearing a strip off of him in my first year in Cheltenham, I am feeling rather sympathetic to Isherwood right now. I suspect if I write anything about this completely insane summer, this will be the title. I mean, grief. What am I supposed to answer when I'll (inevitably) be asked 'So, how was your summer?"
"It was okay, I fought off a brainwashing cult, watched my brother storm out and learnt more than I ever wanted to know about neo-nazis. Oh, and ran off to europe for a month. How about yours?"
I can sort out my massively confused opinions about all this when I'm off trecking. Right now IAMACAMERAIAMACARMERAIAMACAMERA-

dear gods, kill me now.

We read Isherwood's Berlin Diaries back in school and I actually liked it. The characters were mostly annoying, but the mood was great. I started to hate it when we had to watch the musical/movie, though.

"X-D At least you weren't bored!

Apropos the Europe trip: anything more concrete planned so far? Just so that I can make my own plans accordingly, in case you still want to meet up either where I live or somewhere along the way. (Which would probably require your forgiving me for mistaking your run-ins with neo-nazis for you morphing into one. I hope you can try?)
