Today...

I have learnt I work very well as long as I have a suitable carrot. Five hours almost non-stop translating for the carrot of a potential holiday. Hopefully this attempt at backpacking will be better than last time.

The good thing is that you'll get to the carrot, eventually ;)

Oh Europe again, I think. Migth try and go a bit further East this time. The Euro pass can take you to Turkey, after all.

Good luck, that sounds really fun. I wouldn't mind visiting Turkey.

It's epic, you can get one that's 10 days of travelling over a 22 day period, and it's £225

Your rail passes are clearly better than ours. (German rail only offers them for two or three countries at a time. Sorted by groups, unfortunately, not free choice. It's a bit cheaper, though.)

And you know what's totally on the way to Turkey?
