NATURE’S TINY DOCTORS

honestly I didn’t even see that on the container I was just going to accept that leeches are nature’s tiny doctors and move on

They are actually still used to remove congested blood from a wound according to sciencelinks.com, since it’s very easy to regulate how much blood they’re taking and the alternative is ripping your nail off so, y’know, I’d take the leech. Also their saliva contains anti-coagulating chemicals so powerful that they’re being studied to be used in heart medication.

Don’t knock the leechies, people.
