Goiawrgfihfvdjncvmnmmk- GAH!

WHY is there a brass dragon in Dragons of Dwarven Depths? More than that, it seems to think it's in the Dwarfgate wars, which means therefor, that there was a brass. Dragon. In. The. Dwarfgate. Wars.

Am I the only one who thinks this is canon butchery?

This had better be explained to my FULL and COMPLETE satisfaction or Weiss and Hickman are going to heard from me as to why a fanfiction write appears to have a better grasp of canon than they do.

Slasher's first rule- people are stupid.

This says it better than I ever could.

I don't know why I like slash, but there are a lot of factors. Here are some of them and how they relate to my favourite pairings.

Squee-ness: When the characters are incerdibly cute together and I want to read a lot of sweet mushy stuff about that pairing. E.g.- Obi-Wan/Qui-Gon from Star Wars.

Hot monkey sex: Let's face it, who doesn't like reading about two guys getting hot and sexy? PWP and other hot sex, this is when the characters have a lot of subtext and I personally find them very attractive. E.g.- Jack/Will from Pirates of the Caribbean.

Good plot: Sometimes, it's not about the sex at all, but the way the pairing adds to or changes the existing canon to make it more intruiging, how the character would react to canon situations with this in mind. E.g.- Xavier/Magneto from X-men.

All of the above: Sometimes a girl (or guy) can just get lucky, and find a pairing that incorperates everything they love about slash. I think we can all guess it. E.g.- Raistlin/Dalamar, from Dragonlance.
