No-so jolly holiday

So, I've been sacked from my work (again), and am spending my now-free time writing Past Tense, because if all my jobs end this way, I'd better be an author so no one can sack me. Not happy, this Skull Bearer is.

My ex-boss is also an arsehole, calling me halfway through a holiday in Amsterdam to sack me, thus wrecking my holiday and eating all the credit on my phone. And gaining me a lot of ugly looking seeing as if I was halfway through a tour of Anne Frank's house at the time. And the worst part is that I need to call her and beg for my job back (however unlikely that is).

So yes, suddenly scrawling down a holocaust story sounds much more attractive. Erik & Charles' problems are an excellent distraction from my own.

The holiday was fun otherwise, as in, the first half was, and ikn the second any time when I was drunk or stoned was good too. Amsterdam is pretty cool, very sexually open. And yes, the Red Light district really is full of half-naked women pressing their tits against the windows. I also know for sure now that I am not a lesbian, because that rather disgusted me. Not in the 'they shouldn't be doing that' way, but in the 'Eww, I really didn't want to see that.'

Anyway, enough. I hate my boss.

Gods, that's terrible. Did your boss even give you a decent reason as to why she sacked you? And she didn't even have the decency to fire you face to face. *hates your boss too*

Its good to hear that you got some enjoyment out of your trip before the phone call. If you don't get your job back, I hope that you'll find something better. Besides, if they didn't want you, they're not worth your time anyway.

Yeah, definitely an asshat if she fires you on the phone . . . at least have the decency to do it in person, cripes! Good luck, and I hope you can get it back, but if I were you I'd probably consider working somewhere else if they're going to treat you that badly. :^(

I have to ask . . . in Amsterdam are drugs legal? Or just certain kinds? I don't care if people do them, but I wouldn't. I don't even smoke for crying out loud. (However, I do drink. ;^) And how!) *ROFLMAO!* I just hate all the violence and gang shit related to them (at least in this country). I kinda think they should be made legal here and taxed. *LOL!*

I'm bi and what you saw would even disgust me. :^P I just don't like tits much. (The smaller the better.) Maybe I'm an odd female bisexual? I dunno. Still, Amsterdam sure sounds like an interesting place, though. ;^)

As for the windows: *lol* It's incredibly amusing that the writer (and painter) of such wonderfully explicit porn should be shocked so easily. (Especially since those girls were mostly wearing underwear, which is more than far uglier women do at most beaches.) But right, some men were missing. ";-D

In Amsterdam you can do weed and mushrooms legally. My throat is still sore from the joints ;) It's the Dutch way of the war on drugs: legalise the soft stuff, and come down strictly on the hard stuff. It worked.

Past Tense is a very weird x-men fic, and Erik and Charles are the main characters. I've uploaded what I've done so far.
