Bitch you disgust me
you’d think they’d have a better understanding of his character as they were the directors of TWS, a very critical movie in Bucky’s arc that showed his torture, and Civil war that literally showed that Bucky is working towards his recovery and may be damaged but is pretty harmless and doesn’t want to harm people, but who cares about any of that right?
Bucky Barnes: makes the conscious decision to put himself away because he doesn’t feel ready for the world
The Russo’s: THIS GUY IS MENTALLY UNSTABLE AND DANGEROUS!!!!
I’m sorry… you think Bucky chooses to use weapons against people? He tiredly asks T'Challa, “Where’s the fight?” in Infinity War. He doesn’t want to fight, Bucky has been fighting for his life for the last +70 years.
We don’t get to see Bucky a lot and these past few films we’ve been shown Bucky trying to get out. In TWS he’s been freed, CW he’s living a life peacefully and didn’t hurt anyone until he tried to escape from people trying to kill him and when he was the Winter Soldier. IW he’s obviously tired, he’s got HYDRA out of his head but he still faces the horros.
“I don’t know if you want to give a weapon to that guy. It could end up used the wrong way at some point.” Nah sis, Bucky wouldn’t use a weapon against someone. He’s grown, he has a character arc. Bucky wants to leave that life behind, he’s recovering. Something that they’ve shown multiple times, but they ignore what they say anyways so why should we acknowledge it?
Stop calling Bucky “mentally damaged” and “dangerous”.
#I literally don’t understand how these are the same writers and directors #how the fuck do you understand your characters so BADLY
