Starting to slowly drop out of that fandom. It's good, and was fun, but frankly it's gotten to the point where I no longer even like the character (in Wilson's case) or can't respect them (House and Cuddy) or was never interested in the first place (everyone else).
So slowly wandering off, I've a feeling I might join [info]shadowvalkyrie  in cox&co since at least I can't be any more disappointed with the writer.
I might come back if they do something truely spectacular in season five, but at the moment I'm no longer reading anything because the fandom is at a point where all the authors can do is rehash the same old rubbish.

Getting disapointed in a fandom and leaving is a sad sad thing!

I'd be happy to win you for some Victorian fun with Holmes and Watson, though. ":-D

Any good recs (old epic classics prefered)

I only read in the fandom occasionally, when I have the odd craving for something Victorian, so I'm not sure if there are any classics everyone has to know (much less epic ones), but you could start at [livejournal.com profile] katieforsythe's journal. She's got a great grip of the style and characters.
