Finally surfacing from the week or so of complete and utter chaos that is the beginning of University life. The room's pretty nice, but the landlord confiscated my sword yesterday, offensive weapon my arse! I hope he never discovers the two daggers I have secreted away on my windowsill, but then, they are blunter than ballpoint pens.
I have my computer, and Dad came up trumps and fixed my laptop! The others in the house are decent enough, and I finally found someone I could rant to about books and, more specificly, 'A song of Ice and Fire' by George Martin, his name's Andy and we're planning to set up a D&D group.
The courses are still over my head, but I hope they won't be for long. It's promising to be majorly hard and I hope I'll have time for 'Ivory and Ebony', because I'd go stark staring mad if it was otherwise! Got some work done on chapter 8 yesterday, so it's not that bad.
Anyway, I'm in my room at the moment, it's a bit big, but that'll be useful if we ever play D&D. I need to bring some more posters in though, I hate all these blank walls staring at me.
