Damn landlords and sneaky tenants...

Apparently I have to start looking for a new home for September, one of the tenants here has decided she wants the house for her friends, and has talked the landlord into a agreeing... without even mentioning this to us. We only found out about this yesterday, and by then it was too late.

One of my housemates, Kim, is okay, she and her friends were planning for the beginning to move out. But for the rest of us (Katy, Amanda and myself) it's another story.

We were plannign to stay here, only now we can't. We spent the whole of last nigth trying desperately to find somewhere to live. Luckily we didn't have to look far, the house next door is free, not to mention brand new. I should know, I was woken up at 9am for months due to the works there.

It's wicked, it's clean, the rooms are big, but they want 6 people in it and there's only three of us. I phoned my friends and found that they too were looking for new housing, Jen is in halls at the moment and really wants to move out next year, and Steve and Ken (who have left Uni) are paying way too much for a really shitty house.

Those three are coming to view today, and hopefully they'll be happy and we'll be able to get everything settled and signed before it's time for kendo.

Steve and Ken changed their minds about the house, but we got it anyway. All we need to do is find two people willing to rent a lovely house by July 5th. We've paid the deposites, the house is ours (cue evil laugh).
