Just realised, whenever I'm feeling down, I listen to a lot of Marilyn Manson. I'm not going to go on about how 'Only he can understand my pain', because I hate that emo shit and you'd be hard pressed to work out what the guy's singing about at the best of times, but seriously, that's pretty much all I've been listening to in the last few days, and I downloaded a load of his music videos yesterday.

Don't get me wrong, I love the guy, he's a brilliant artist and his music's fantastic, but it is almost impossible to work out what he's trying to say in his lyrics. It's very confusing, yet too poignant to be just random stuff. His music videos are beyond strange too. In 'I Don't Like the Drugs (But the Drugs Like Me)' he's dragging a cross made of televisions and being chased by headless policemen. In 'Mobscene', he's doing a caberet act and has deformed air-hostesses doing the can-can. In 'Dope Show' he's a Roswell alien (by the way, those boots he wears? I took one look at them and bought a pair for myself, they rock). 'Tourniquet' is a bizarre Frankenstein dream sequence, which was, nevertheless, very cool. And in 'Man That You Fear' he got stoned to death by a bunch of rednecks.

My favourites are the movies for Crytorchild and King Kill, which are basically various random pieces of bad black and white film, each only a few seconds long, spliced together into one sequence. Since the film is so bad and changes so often, it's hard to work out what you're looking at, and this, coupled with the rather spooky music, makes it rather scary.

Yeah, I'm a fan, so shoot me.
