So, I have finally managed to again find my addiction to Dragonlance (it was hiding behind the sofa), and have finished chapter 14, only it's not the end, because that twat Fistandantilus wanted more sceen-time. Arsehat. So the ending's been prosponed until chapter fifteen, which I hopefully start writing tonight. I want Nocturnal finished by Hallow'ene, so I can move onto Alvorecer (tentative title for DoSD). It'll be probably the shortest of the lot and serve more as a bridging point between Nocturnale and my version of Legends. Unlike Chronicles, Legends won't be split up by book, but will just be one big story. I might fit in a short story between Alvorecer and Legends, that's still up in the air, but the bunnies are biting, the characters are quaking in their boots, and thing look like the might finally be getting a move on.
As for more RL things, I have found a sort-of job (volunteer at the Charity shop) it doesn't exactly pay (yeah right, last time I worked there I got a pair of free speakers that would cost £70, today I got an oriental top, a book, and nice scarf and Fistandantilus' bloodstone pendant. All for £5).
but at least it shuts up the parental units and it looks good on my CV. I also have a new hair cut. It's very short now, and quite masculine, but I like it a lot. It lengthens my face and it's nice not to bother untangling it. The downside is that the fringe keeps dropping into my eyes, which is very annoying when I'm typing, but I have a hairband, so all is right with the world.
