You know the old saying 'once is an accident, twice is coincidence, and three times is enemy action'? I'm starting to get rather paraniod over how the world at large seems to be pelting me with reasons to continue my NaNoWriMo project.

You notice that I haven't been writing about anything else recently? That's because I've been doing very little else! And anything else I do seems to carry a little reminder to finish my story. Yes, I must be getting paranoid, but everything seems to be going so smoothly it's suspicious. Oh well, I'm up to 23409 words, so I won't complain.

You were my first, and the easiest, and it's no wonder I stayed with you for so long. But all good things must come to an end, and in the end I grew away from you.

I was never really involved with you, but I still have a soft place in my heart for you. We get on well when we're together, but being apart's no problem either since I have so little invested in you. Despite that, I'd still miss you if you were gone.

Of all, you're the most reliable, and it's no wonder it's been so long and you're still there. You have your flaws, sometimes aggravating ones, but you more than make up for them. Don't worry, I'll be back.

Oh dear. What happened there? One moment I'm happily going along, content with my life, and you come in and everything is turned upside down. You're there everywhere I look, and you monopolise my every thought. I'm sure this can't be healthy but I wouldn't give you up for anything.
