Pick five (or two or ten) of your fics and explain what the titles mean and/or how you came up with them.

Ivory and Ebony: Proof that you should never force a title. I was scrambling to find a name for my series and made it up through sheer lack of ideas. I hate it and still have not idea where it came from. I wish I'd just stuck with Enigma.

Past Tense
: More proof of the previous. I'd originally called it 'Blessed to Forget' after a song I was listening to a lot while writing it. It was an  awful choice and I knew it, but I didn't try and force anything and the name just came to me. It was and is perfect and I am completely content with it, despite that most of the story has been written in present tense :P I have vague ideas of splitting the story as I write it into three, Past Tense, Present Perfect and Future Continuous, but I haven't decided yet.

On my Trip to Auschwitz-Birkenau for the 63rd Anniversary Service
: Not a fic, but a poem I wrote for assessment. Absolutely massive, and I didn't even like it. I wrote it on a whim while the teacher was doing a reading and she convinced me to hand it in. I hadn't a clue what to call it and decided do the exact opposite of most poem titles and do something very simple. Exactly what it says on the tin, no similies, no frills. Very long, but then so is the poem. It was a weird day.

Torqueo: Since Crepuscule, I'd decided to translate my I&E titles into other languages, and I arbitarily decided this one would be Latin. I put in 'Torture' into the English-Latin translator, and thought Torqueo sounded the best. Then I discovered it also mean 'To Test' and I was very happy.

Alvorecer
: Proof that sometimes forcing a title can work. I really wasn't happy with this one when I started writing, but it slowly just grew into it, until now it seems impossible to think about calling it anything else.

In other news, I'm feeling somewhat better. Still dodgy though.
