In October (okay, nearly November). It snowed. This means I can't go running, so I'll make up for my walking to uni. The running water's going to be turned off in a minute, so I'd better be off soon (no water for a shower, and I'd need one after going running, so it's probably all for the best).
Here's a poems about the weather:
Snow
Snow!
What was rain below is white above
Great white flakes of crystal shaped
Large as snowballs descend
Descend!
Snow white as angel down
Throught which I inmate trudge
Descend
Descend
White like dreaming fairies fall
Upon my friendly boots so glad to see
Them out of death's unholy pall
The snow
The snow!
Descend below
And paint all London white
Ease my half-starved fears
The snow
Descend!
Celebrating flurries but lately shed
Already paint the whole town white
Fall on
Fall on!
Redeen in white the fallen town
You who fall so gently down
The cars are all already caked
But soon
The salters come.
Fall on
Fall on
You are ever too few
Let there be more of you.
I'll probably be handing this in for critique on Thursday. I like it a lot. And as you can tell, I love the snow :) even when it stops me from running.
Yes, I am feeling pretty good. If it keeps me feeling like this, I'd never eat again, as it is, I'll start eating either today or tomorrow.
Oh, and Jordan? If you're reading this, thank you for the book, it's absolutely amazing.
