Work Update and WTF
Jun. 24th, 2009 12:49 pmNow reached page 60, another 48 to go.
Also, dude. This book is seriously WTF. I started off thinking it was a fairly dark sort of Marvel universe, where you play as part of a Hellboy-ish
Agency aimed at keeping the peace. After reading on a little way I came to the conclusion a closer metaphor would be playing as members of a Judenrat in a 1940 Jewish ghetto. Seriously dude, WFT? The rest of the world is friggin' mental and the moment the 'mutant' homeland collapses (which looks to be in the next few years) they'll break of the Death Camps.
And you are suppsoed to be defending these people? Seriously, if Magneto was in this world I'd make him president, give him a canister of gasoline and leave him to it.
This book is beyond warped. I mean, work is work, and it's fun in its own right, but grief.
