X-fic: Diaspora Part 1

The anti-Past Tense fic I mentioned. It turned out to be rather larger than expected. It supposed to be a 'Erik and Charles meet as teenagers' kinkmeme fill but I'm 4,000 words in and Erik hasn't even gotten to America yet. This is my own version of Erik's background, which was done by getting various comicsverse and movieverse elements and mashing them together until I got something I liked.
