As a rule, I've found that films advertised on the sides of buses to be generally bad

So when I saw The Pirates! advertised ont he side of the 55 from Oxford Circus I was a bit meh, to me it sounded like another Dreamworks attempt to one-up Pixar with all the ability of a dead haddock in a tree climbing contest. Until I actually got closer to said bus, and saw two things.

The little 'In an Adventure with Scientists' banner under the main title.
And one word: Aardman.

So yeah, I thawed out quite a lot. Then I saw the trailer. Anything that makes you explode laughing by the halfway mark gets my vote. (for me it was the dentures. Paramour lasted until the fish before he gave in as well)
