I’m glad you’re excited about my RBB, anon, but I regret to inform you that I really like Stephen Strange.
(My RBB artist also really likes Stephen Strange and is the one who got me hooked on reading Strange comics in the first place, and Strange is actually one of the more important characters in the portion of this story that is not directly about Steve and Tony getting it on because, you know, what is collaboration if not Let’s Put Everyone’s Faves In This Fic?)
I see 616 Strange as basically straight (and, to my bewilderment, have become really invested in Strange/Clea – and I am almost never into the canon het ship), and given that I only write comics fic, I am not likely to join the Ironstrange shippers anytime soon, but they seem really happy and I have to say I’m glad they’re having fun and that they’ve found a ship they like. I just want everyone in fandom to have a good time, honestly.
(Okay, I lie, I have one 616 Ironstrange idea – it is mostly my RBB artist’s idea but I keep borrowing it and contemplating ways to make it even more idtastic – but I am pretty sure it is not a story anyone who actually OTPs the ship would ever want to read. And at any rate, I would need to read more comics first. I have not read nearly enough older Strange yet. So I’m not sure if I’m writing that, but it’s currently being a lot of fun to think about.)
