The trigger warnings were there. But if they don’t want to look at the damage their community has done, maybe they shouldn’t be a part of that community. They’re not babies. Being a minor doesn’t spare them a wake-up call for what’s been going on in their community. Being a minor should spare you from sexual advances from adults. It should spare you from debt or extensive legal responsibility. It should spare you from being forced to work a job, or forced out on the streets. It should not spare you from being told you are making yourself part of a group that has told Jewish people to burn alive, queer people their identities aren’t real, survivors their abuse was deserved, disabled people they’re homebound, unwashed freaks who should wet themselves, and middle schoolers they should be raped.

You also literally missed the whole part where that entire post proved my point, because y'all threatened me with violence for speaking up against the abuse y'all have been perpetuating and normalising. No, not all anti antis ship problematic ships. Not all antis harass people. It’s about what the movement stands for. And the anti movement stands for censorship and fearmongering.

Just because you don’t understand why someone ships something, doesn’t mean you have to bully them. It really does come down to humans being afraid of what they don’t understand, doesn’t it?

Interesting fact, in order to get just the right shade of black and white tv goth, the whole of the Addam’s house was pastel pink.

Consequences

Curbing murder hobos is a challenge presented to many DMs by inexperienced or disrupting players. To discourage your players, make them realize their actions in-game will have very real consequences for their characters.

For example, in the upcoming evil campaign, my players will be required to facilitate a covert drug deal. It’d be very easy for them to simply kill the buyers and take their money. If they did, what would be the repercussions?

Perhaps fellow criminals wouldn’t want to do business with them anymore. A rival in the criminal underground could turn them in to the authorities. Their superiors may even try to have them killed for trying to take matters into their own hands.

Make sure players know that everything, even the smallest choice, will affect the world around them.

I was running a game where the characters had been mistaken (for good reason) for murderers). One player insisted on staying and fighting the guards while the others had gotten the message and were set on running away.

I just told the errant player that if he stayed behind, I couldn’t help him. He wisely chose to follow the others and run.
