Actually, I'm finding it hard to think of any characters I like who aren't geniuses. Raistlin, Dalamar, Charles, Erik, Mirek... They're all incredibly clever in one way or another. The only one I can think off the top of my head is Johannes, and even then that's not so much stupidity as deliberate ignorance.
