I got the job! At last, I have an occupation.

So, yesterday. I went to work, and discovered that overall at the company, my preformance had been rated at 80%, which is great. They kept us in until three, then let us escape. I walked to Camden Lock (which from Notting Hill, is a very long way indeed), and hung around waiting for my cousin and her boyfriend to turn up, when they did, we met up with my friends Joey and Kathrine, and went to the restaurant. One massive and very expensive meal later, we went out. I had no ID, so the bars wouldn't serve me (I'm 21 you twats! Do I look 17 to you?). At this point Nora left (you will be missed :'( come back to London anytime).
Joey, Kathy and I decided to go out clubbing, only there were no interesting clubs (that's criminal in Soho on a friday night). So we went to sex shops, bought alcohol and sat by a cashpoint and  talked to random strangers. Then we went to the Torcadero arcade and blew what was left of our money on games. Joey and Kathy trounced everyone on the dance machines while I blew up zombies. Fun, particularly when drunk.

We walked back to Joey's place, singing sea-shanties at the tops of our voices and talking to a weird guy with a leaf on his head (I'm sure he was real, I wasn't that drunk). We got to the house, drank even more, watched 'Dead Like Me' (most of which I can no longer recall) and took poppers (or, Joey and I did. I saw shiny things that may not have been real and laughed solidly for five minutes, Joey fell over). After that, I can't remember most fo the evening, but Kathy left at one point and Joey and I stayed up and swapped secrets, finally going to sleep at 5am. I had a weird dream about Marvel, and woke up at 8 when my heels started feeling like they were being attacked with a hacksaw. I hadn't taken my boots off, and I now cannot walk without pain.

In other words, it was a night to remember. I just wish I could remember more of it :(
