Still on Holiday

skull_bearerI'm taking another break from Ivory and Ebony, I'm just not into it at the moment, and I've been exploring the X-men fandom since I watched the third film. It sucked, but it got me thinking about the slash possibilities in that. So I'm off reading through the various Erik/Charles fics on the net. It's a pretty fascinating pairing, and it's nice to be able to read to my heart's content (something sadly absent from Dragonlance).
So yeah, I'm still writing bits, chapter ten's about half done, but I'm taking it easy. I've also been reading a lot of books other than Dragonlance. I finished Swordspoint, and moved onto The Name of the Rose (brilliant book, and there's a great film made from it with Sean Connery in it as William of Baskervilles! *drool*), I finished that, and read a Darkover novel, and now I'm about to start Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrel, which promises to be good.
I do, however, have a feeling my love for DL will resurface around next week.
DRAGONS OF DWARVEN DEPTHS! *bouces*
Until then, I'm off to enjoy a bit of variety.
