Guys I’m in this movie and I’m telling you do not see it.
It’s badly written, poorly acted - everyone on set was up Johnny Depp’s ass. It’s not a good film, I had to sit through 3 weeks of trying to make a terrible scene good enough for them to want to put it in the movie.
They also cheated us (the extras) out of money that we were supposed to be paid for doing extra stuff (green screen work, having our images captured for their cgi, etc.) I’ll admit I was paid well but I wasn’t paid everything, because they named the other work something else to get away with not having to pay us for doing more than the base requirement of showing up and doing what the director said.
Do not give your money to this film.

Why has Harry Potter become so embarrassing? 😩😩
….because the fanbase matured and the franchise didn’t.
I’d go further and say the franchise regressed.
The problem was, Harry Potter wanted to grow up, but had no idea what that looked like since the world worked on child logic. Having an authority figure allow a child to face an insane mass-murderer at eleven so he had a chance to face his parents’ murderer makes perfect sense for kids, but is child endangerment for adults.
The same happened with the race issues. In the first few books they were mainly allegorical and on a child level. Draco Malfoy shouting Mudblood at Hermione is familiar to kids who’ve had racial slurs yelled at them in the playground. But then they scaled up, and became… problematic. It became clear the heroes weren’t that great either, and the only way to keep them the good guys was to make the bad guys worse, which is how we got this:
Honestly I was more insulted by the sheer brain-dead lack of imagination than the fact that this is literally a nazi uniform my god people do you have any imagination at all fucking hell.
And on top of that, they had no idea where they were supposed to go from there. The way of go, of course, was to say ‘okay, the world we loved has some problems and we’ll address them in the story and show it’s becoming better!’ Only JKR didn’t and we got the babies every after shitilogue.
So now Harry Potter world’s been stuck in this shitty place where the internal politics are basically jumping up and down under a huge neon sign reading hello, we are heading towards genocide! but everyone is pretending it’s great.
Also Depp. Fuck Depp.
