My players are busy coming up with their characters (my rules are ‘anything goes as long as it’s not totally broken’) and some guys are angsting over how to get their non-humanoid characters to fit in with the normal world. One guy is playing as a yuan’ti and wanted to know if he could make a potion to give himself leg.
Meanwhile, I’m sitting there quietly thinking : My dudes, this campaign opens with the fucking End Times! No one will be physically able to give a fuck!
This is why they love my games.
