After one of the rabbits said ‘Hazel knows you’ve got to take Fiver with a pinch of salt’ the movie lost me for good.
A big part of the story is to be immersed in rabbit culture, and they are throwing around so many human terms and idioms it’s kicking me out every time. How the fuck do they know what corvids are? Who told them they lived in Sandleford? They rushed the intro fable and the result is that the rabbit culture aspect feels threadbare and weak.
Also the corvids looked like they’d escaped from Birdemic, so there’s that too.
