My favs are “they are too alien” and “earth is deliberately not contacted”

Not sure if it’s there, but I heard that our solar system is, in terms of the lifespan of the universe, a very, very early one. Most of the stars that will exist have not been born yet. We are there guys turning up for the party hours before it starts and wondering where everyone is.
