We don’t ever go out of our way to fact check, but there are times you can’t help but notice mistakes. Reading a character being presented as a genuine rock and roll buff and attributing Dark Side of the Moon to Led Zeppelin was… painful.
You never know if your reader’s going to be a historian specialising in the wool trade during tudor times.
