I see a lot of focus on Venom and Eddie getting separated and all the anxiety that comes with not knowing where they are/not being with each other but can we consider the opposite:
Symbiosis goes too far or something and they end up fusing so that they’re lost as individuals, Eddie gets absorbed into the symbiote, or the symbiote just melts into Eddie. Creep Factor 10

Something I considered when wondering how Eddie fits inside Venom- could there be a situation where they can’t change back? Like Eddie’s body’s been put under so much strain from being ten feet tall that they can’t fix it any more.
In my fics that would be a toss up between ‘oops’ and ‘no actually we prefer it this way’
