1. The character most likely to fall in love with the wrong person- Tyrion. Canon bitches.
2. The character whom I'm embarrassed to admit I adore - Not adore, but I must be the only person in the world who has a sneaking fondness for Melisandre. Possibly only because she is so doomed.
3. The character that would send me screaming in the opposite direction IRL despite being fascinating in fiction- ...All of them? Probably Arya
4. The character with the most annoying personality quirks- Brienne. Repeat after me: Skull Bearer doesn't like self-pitying characters.
5. The character I most admire and why- I admire a lot fo the characters. I admire Arya for being so resourceful, Tyrion for still being able to joke in the world circumstances. Daenarys for being able to admit her mistakes. I guess the one I really do admire is Stannis, for taking all that shit, being advised by the worst person, and still being the only king to make the right call. Again though, he is so doomed.
6. The character with the worst temper- Jeoffry. Dead. Hah.
7. The character most likely to fail at everything- Currently, Cercei. Another doomed character.
8. The pairings I prefer in canon- Daenarys/Drogo. Eddard/Cat.
9. The pairings I prefer in fanon- No friggin' idea.
10. The character with the most personal growth in canon- probably either Dany or Sansa. Either way, it's not over.

ASoIaF has so many great characters it's really hard to choose.

And what happened to Renly/Loras? It's a canon pairing, too after all.

Never really liked it. Good on the whole gay factor, but neither of the characters every interested me, so meh.

Termeraire I can't really do because there aren't that many main characters. So DL ;)
1. The character most likely to fall in love with the wrong person- Anyone surprised? Tanis. Again, canon bitches.
2. The character whom I'm embarrassed to admit I adore- Laurana. At least before she swapped her brain with her ovaries in DoSD.
3. The character that would send me screaming in the opposite direction IRL despite being fascinating in fiction- In canon, Raistlin, in I&E, either Dalamar or Fistandantilus. I really can't decide which of them would be scarier. Sure our lich is more powerful, but honestly, I would stand a chance again Dalamar. And Dalamar gets /creative/.
4. The character with the most annoying personality quirks- Tasslehoff. I'd have said Tanis, but I'm re-reading Legends and wondering why I ever liked that character. Chetwynd pointed out what a Mary-Sue he was to me and god, he is. I've hated him ever since. In fact, I've joined with Fistandantilus in hating the entire kender race on priciple. Tasslehoff is going to meet a very horrible end one of these days...
5. The character I most admire and why- Dalamar. In both canon and I&E. In fact, having written him so much for I&E, he's challenging Raistlin for his place on my 'fav. character of all time' list.
6. The character with the worst temper- Canon, Raistlin. I&E, Dalamar. Just ask Amberyl.
7. The character most likely to fail at everything- Dead heat at the starting line between Caramon and Tanis.
8. The pairings I prefer in canon- ... none of them. Although Kit/Lord Soth is pervy enough to get my attention.
9. The pairings I prefer in fanon- Take. Three. Guesses.
10. The character with the most personal growth in canon- None of them really grow, they go through cyclical phases. In I&E, Dalamar definitely.

Heh, we mostly agree.

I do admire Dalamar, too, but as I said, he falls into category three too much, and for me those categories don't really mix. Also, he has a lot of character traits that aren't all that admirable.

I forgot Kit/Soth as a canon pairing! Stupid me! I adore them so much. Kit's is the most perfect, fitting, and well-deserved death scene ever!
