I'm not sure mpreg counts as kinky (as opposed to plain old horrifying).

IT's the sort of story that comes in when I'm asleep, and when I wake up I'm groggy enough to think it's a good idea.
Mpreg is an aquired taste. I would reccomend it outside warped dreams though. (I get off by torturing my characters.)

Erik is still hiding. Apocalypse has been unmasked as Fistandantilus. Charles will never forgive me. Everyone else is watching from a safe distance.

Pregnancy in and of itself is bad enough, but doing it to male characters, who never could have expected it and prepared their feeble little souls for the horror... Seriously, one of the major benefits in having all-male shagging is that nobody has to worry about pregnancy.

Isn't Fistandantilus, at this point, still part of Raistlin or something? Right, Fistandantilus and science again... forget I asked. Let's write it down to timetravel once more.

Ugh, I know those. I recently (while reading Empire of Ivory) dreamt up Temeraire/Skie, which wouldn't have been traumatising in and of itself (actually, it was quite pretty) if it hadn't lead to Kit/Laurence hate sex...

This is all in my head, so chaacters can appear anywhere (although this is the first time any of them's managed such a good disguise. Raistlin is wincing in sympathy). It sdtarted off as a dream, then I woke up and dozed, and the dream got nastier and nastier and more hideous, and they I finally took pity on Erik and let Charles rescue him. Then I started a recovery fic, which is just as fun.
I think I do it because I like to hit my characters until they break. Since Erik needs near-Lovecraftian horror to break, and even then managed to put himself back together (with Charles' help), he's probably one of my more resilient characters (just as well)

What did you think of EoI?

I liked EoI, especially how all the kinds of social criticism tie together so neatly, but all the sick dragons were incredibly depressing. Also, compared to the other books, it doesn't have quite as many cute Temeraire/Laurence moments, possibly because they are rather busy with other things. (I really want more fic about them, damnit.)
