Ah, finally in a better mood, due to the most delectable slash fic I have read in far too long.

No, not Raistlin/Dalamar, that would have been too much to hope for, I'm afraid, but another pairing, one so rare that I haven't named it a favourite. I doubt there are half a dozen good fics out there.

I like R.A. Salvatore, and I especially like it when he writes about Drizzt Do'Urden (Dalamar's photo-negative). There are far too few Drizzt-slash fics, and even fewer that don't involve Entreri, and those get on my nerves. I guess I'm an old-school Drizzt fan, but I'm never been a fan of these "hate turns to love" fics. Never liked Harry/Draco, in other words.

All the same, I have wondered about Drizzt's sexuality, he's certainly taking his time with Catti-Brie, you considered maybe the grass really is greener on the other side of the fence, eh Drizzt? ;)

Anyway, this fic was a Drizzt/other character, and just... wow. I seriously advise you read this fic. The new character, Brionne, was incredibly well developed, as was the world he came from (this was a Drizzt-goes-to-other-world fic, and what an other-world it was!).

The only crime is that there is no sequel, it's such a clever fic.

 

Anyway, you can find it here read it, review it and by all the Gods, implore that author to write a sequel, or at least a smutty interlude...
