So, I bought the latest Uncanny X-men comic, on the sole grounds that it showed Charles Xavier naked. A few months ago, I bought an X-men graphic novel because it had Magneto naked in a few panels.

My muses have finally given up the strike (on the premise that I never go near neo-nazi literature again) and I have managed to write not only a few drafted pages for Past Tense, but also sketch out the plot for Alvorecer for several more chapters. The first chapter's going to be the hardest though, I suspect.

I saw Children of Men yesterday with Joey. That was amazing, all you Americans you there, if you want a film that perfectly portrays the essence of the British, that's the film. Everything that happens there is done in such a perfectly English way that it's great to see. The plot is great, the characters are great (I admit to an unhealthy love of Clive Owen) and it's just one of those classic English films, like 28 Days later. Which I also watched the other day. Because I love zombies. Especially Marvel Zombies. I don't know what crack Marvel was on when they thought that up, but it's a damn sight better than anything else out there, even if they did eat Magneto.

And yes, I am working on these requests.
