For Analia_the_1st:
I'd like to see your version of how Dalamar was exiled from Silvanesti. And I'd also like to see your version of how Dalamar got to Tarsis and what happened there.

And so, on Holocaust memorial day, while watching a program about Auschwitz, I finally recieve the corrected version of Past Tense.

I GIVE UP!

I have absolutely no idea why everything I do connected to the Holocaust is so... so... uncanny. I'll give you an example, in connection with my fic, I went to see a wonderful play, 'Bent', which was about a gay man in the concentration camps. It's heartbreakingly wonderful and I looked the play up in Wikipedia, only to find that the person who had played the main character in the first preformance was none other than Sir Ian Mckellen, the same man who played Magneto in the X-films.

*flails*

I would have given my right arm and several of my teeth to be able to see that preformance.

I lose the notebook in which I keep all my notes, and remain convinced, despite all evidence to the contrary, that I still have it. I find it a few days later.

[personal profile] delaminate buys me an absolutely vital book for christmas, about the liberation of Belsen. Okay, they were never in Belsen but still, what I found was incredbly useful.

I could go on. Realistically, this story should have been a flop. It was a new fandom, with new characters, in a historical setting I knew next to nothing about and a writing style I had never tried before.

Everything I need falls in my lap, everything I need to find out is at my fingertips, the characters come out perfectly when I draw them, and can be bloody noisy when I write about them. I don't even get the quota of nightmares I should get for all the bloody research I had to do on this crazy subject. I admit, I find it fascinating beyond wanting to write about it, but still. This is a jinxed subject. In a good way. Kinda.

Once is chance, twice is coincidence, and three times is enemy action. This has reached now freaky proportions.

And yes, I will post Past Tense soon enough. Eternal thanks to [profile] ethereal_vision for the beta, however creepy your timing.[Bad username or unknown identity: ]
