Mountains. Skull Bearer when to the south of France, and saw many beautiful mountains, some so high they didn't look like mountains. Trust Skull Bearer, the best sight in the world is the realisation that the odd cloud formations you're looking at at sunrise aren't clouds at all...

Skis. Yes, Skull Bearer has gone skiing. On said mountains. Skull Bearer's legs are regretting this fact since she went down a slope far too advanced and did them significant damage. How ever, Skull Bearer would like to maintain that it had been fun up to that point.

People she hasn't seen forever. The trip was at the behest of a family friend, and many people were from a time when Skull Bearer didn't know fanfiction existed. Also, despite the fact that Skull Bearer promised to keep in touch, she has decided that it would probably be a bad idea.

Far too much of her mother: With whom she is never going on a holiday alone with again. The woman managed to forget everything from her handbag to her driving license and Skull Bearer is very sick of her freaking out even after she found said items and taking it out on her.

Lots and lots of ink. When you don't have internet access or even a computer, more primitive methods must suffice. She wrote a lot.

Possibly the best PS2 game ever. It's called Okami, it's Japanese and you play a wolf god. It's alsolutely brilliant.

Her very own funny sign(tm): She and Joey found it embedded in one of the square meter squares of earth that houses Tottanam Court Road's trees. It read 'Cricket Ground, keep off'. Skull Bearer will link to the pics when Joey uploads them.

Not nearly enough internet: Which she is currently remedying.

A pastafarian was suspended from school for coming in wearing full pirate regalia. His religion, that of the flying spaghetti monster, proclaims that all its members should dress as pirates at all times, and not doing so is a breach of the religion. The school didn't see it that way and suspended him. He said they weren't suspending students who refused to take off their crucifixes. I see his point.

Watching a program about Hawkwind, a mad acid rock band from the '70s who's music was written by people on LSD, preformed by people on LSD, and listened to by people on LSD. They're pretty good, and anyone who had preform alternative music with strobe lights while f*cked up on acid gets my vote. I bet my dad would be able to name each and every one of them. The main reason I'm watching this though, is because it had the magic words in the summery: Interview. With. Micheal. Moorcock.

One of my favourite authors ever.

You probably have never heard of him. Have you ever heard of the multiverse? Or the nine pointed star symbolising chaos? How about Elric? Blame Moorcock. I ran into his books when I was fifteen and have loved it ever since. He's not the best writer, nor the most original. His writing style is good, but I've read better. I like him because everything he does comes together to make something completely new. You can't pin it down, but it's fantastic, and not something to read while on drugs (as the author undoubtably was when he wtote it). Corum is good, his one-shots are great, and Elric of Melnibone has a place on my 'favourite characters of all time' list (along with Raistlin and Magneto).

Anyway, enough typing, I'm enjoying this.

The world is becoming a pretty nasty place, what with freedom being killed off bit by bit and everything being run by faceless corperations. The world looks like a much smaller place, and it's no wonder that we're all spending so much time on the net. One day, thse faceless corperations are going to look up and wonder where everyone's gone. We're all in the Matrix and paid the machines to take us in. At which point does virtual reality become reality? I mean, hells the way things are going in RL I know where I'd like to live. The internet, or way out of 1984.

Sorry, just trying out a new idea.
