On a personal note I know the Venom fandom has died down but I’m still pretty into it. For those of you still making Venom, Symbrock content thank you so much!

Wisp- is 100% done and posted!

Genocide: First chapter is up! Genocide is a huge turning point for the series and features a symbiote that my husband made!

Part 4: still doesn’t have a fucking title but its coming along very well!

“HP Lovecraft getting his ass kicked” will always remind me of one particular story idea I have

Basically, it’s the future, an evil corporation that’s obviously meant to be Disney has invented time travel and is kidnapping writers from all of history to write new Disney stories, Tolkien is one of the writers who have joined the Resistance, and at one point they run into HP Lovecraft and Tolkien just starts beating him up while loudly critiquing Lovecraft’s worldbuilding

Like, there’s a lot to beat up HP Lovecraft over, but I don’t think JRR ‘all the bad guys are POC’ Tolkien should be doing it.

Part of Sex, Love and Robotics is that Rhodey is running the Avengers and as a result they work brilliantly together. Having someone in charge who’s not massively fucked up or seventy years out of date does wonders for a group’s cohesion.

Imagine MCU Peter Parker accidentally letting slip that he’s gonna miss a class trip because Aunt May can’t chaperone so then he suddenly has to explain to his teachers why one of the Avengers volunteered to oversee the class camping trip or something like that.

Like imagine Peter being super embarrassed when all of his classmates are wondering why the fuck Thor, god of thunder and king of Asgard, is on their trip.

Or why Captain Steven Rogers is standing at attention as the teacher lists off all of the parents who volunteered to come.

Or like even the defenders, like imagine the principal asking why he thought a blind lawyer from Hell’s Kitchen was a suitable candidate for chaperoning a bunch of high schoolers.

Or Natasha comes along and all the kids are too afraid of her to say anything the whole time.

Imagine Peter trying to explain that his second choice after his legal guardian was known Kennedy Assassin, James Buchanan Barnes.

Imagine the principal trying to figure out how in the hell a student contacted S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Daisy Johnson for what basically amounts to a babysitter for a weekend bus trip.

Or even further and tie in Venom and have kids questioning why some off-the-rails San Francisco newsman signed on to help this random kid in Queens.

Like I love all the headcanons about the older superheroes deciding that this child is their responsibility but the domestic side of that is just hilarious

That last one is so relatable

I"m so glad to see Hilda on my dash again i’ve been feeling so horrible about my body lately.

What I love is that although she’s sexy, she’s not really sexualised. 

Look at her poses, she isn’t showing herself off to the watcher. There’s no wink, no acknowledgement that she’s being observed and is welcoming the attention. There is no male gaze in the way she’s behaving. 

She’s just being herself, and being gorgeous while doing it is incidental.

And remember- this is a quiet time, between movies and with the comics only good for toilet paper. Give it a year when Venom 2 comes out and Cates finally fucks off to ruin something else, and this fandom will come back online hard.
