How about the scene that Aurora standed between Maleficent and Queen Ingris. The last battle.

It’s not even a war. It’s genocide. Imagine when someone finally got the chance to kill Hitler and all of a sudden this yong girl showed up stoping the assassin, because “you are a good person. You shall not kill.”

The ones who came up with this script, who approved it, and who went along with the production without saying anything got some serious mental illness issue.

which involves no sympathy or very basic understanding of racism, discrimination, war, death of family/friends, trauma, and the respect of life.

I have friends told me this film is not political. I accepted it. I don’t wanna assume something without proof. Still, the movie basically told a story about the very existence of one species suffering from massacre through generations but when they finally got the power to fight back, the killers and predators claimed it was all because they’ve been taught wrong ideas. So it was nobody’s fault except one. Now since the misunderstanding got resolved, no one should seek justice/revenge/payback(even if they might just kill your friends 10 minutes ago you still gonna smile at them during the following wedding), or you’re breaking the peace which they suddenly cherished so much.

You know what? Fuck you.
