And for once it is not dead end. It is working from home, and actually has some prospects and is something that would actually look good on my CV. I am translating gamebooks! The internship place needed a French to English translator, and apparently they liked me enough to take me on for hopefully-more-than-one-book. Anyway, working on the first book. It's fairly interesting, 109 pages long and fairly straightforward. It's like World of Darkness mixed with equal parts Marvel, Watchmen and Hellboy, so it's pretty fun. Done 21 pages so far.

21/109 = 1/5

Wow! That sounds like a great job! Maybe the internship wasn't a total loss after all! (How's it going otherwise?)

My own job (with the horses) is on indefinite hold at the moment, seeing as my boss is hospital and things look dark for him. Which, yeah, crap, because I liked the guy a lot and loved the job.

Oh it's over now. Should be quite funny, since I'll be one of my teacher's success stories (was the first one to get the internship, and actuyally got paid work out of it) yet I'm not taking it next year. It's kinda dumb, they went on and on about how vital this course was, they never mentioned it wasn't compulsary. I can't see what else I'll get from the course so I signed on to a non-fiction course instead. I can't wait to see the teacher and tell her that one.
